All you need to know is that I am grateful for my relationship with Amber.
She is one of the strongest women I have ever met. She is funny, perceptive, constantly striving to be better, and she continues to be an amazing friend to me even if we are miles and time zones apart.
Amber is well educated and extremely articulate. How she can get past my lack of book smarts is beyond me, but I am so glad she does.
Most of our time spent together is laughing and being over-the-top crass. I love that about us. Sometimes, we just need a friend to say the most obscene things to and then laugh maniacally about it right afterwards.
The best part? We can be ourselves with each other and know we aren’t being judged by the other person. It’s liberating and so important.
I love Amber and this Thanksgiving I want her to know SHE is who I am thankful for and our relationship is a beautiful and necessary part of my life.
Today I am thankful for Shayla. Trust, respect, loyalty, and honesty are words thrown around all the time when it comes to friendship, and I understand those ideals at the highest level because of her. We have our own world and a measure of insights and inside jokes that have truly made me a better human. I see life in a fresh way after every conversation with her, and I am a wiser, funnier, and happier person because I call Shayla my friend. I love you!
